GENERAL INFORMATION
DAWSON LAKE LOCAL RULES
Swimming in the lake is prohibited with the exception of the designated beach area. The beach area is accessible by admission only.
Motorized boats are not permitted to exceed 10 mph (no wake.)
Life jackets are required for all boaters.
AGE REQUIREMENT INFORMATION
Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to rent any watercraft
A valid ID or Driver's License is required for the duration of all rentals
Participants at least 8 years of age are allowed to ride in a watercraft individually while accompanied by an adult operating a separate watercraft. Participants under the age of 8 must be in a watercraft with an adult (age 18 years or older.) Participants are limited to the seating capacity of the watercraft.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Moraine View Restaurant & Kayak Rental may suspend watercraft rentals based on inclement weather and forecasts.
Watercraft rentals are not permitted while lightning, thunder and/or impacting winds have been identified in the area either by on-site observation or identified on radar.
Watercraft rentals are permitted during periods of rain at the discretion of the renter. However, rain-checks or rescheduling are not permitted after the renter has opted to begin their rental.
Watercraft rentals are non-refundable. In the case of inclement weather, reservations may be rescheduled and do not expire.
